Ava & Liam Motivational Sign Giveaway

Happy Tuesday!!  I am BEYOND excited to share this giveaway with you today!

I am a visual person.  Seeing things – words, numbers, whatever – helps me focus and stay on track.  Which is why I LOVE these motivational signs created by Ava & Liam.

Ava & Liam is a small business that makes gifts and home decor – they are made to order and totally customizable.

The sign I have – which will be hung down our basement on the wall next to the treadmill and stationery bike – is approximately 12″ x 12″.  It is handpainted on wood and distressed to look vintage.

One of the coolest things about it is these signs is that the bottom half is a chalkboard.  So you can write your next goal and then erase it and write the next one when that race/event passes.  This is what my sign currently looks like:

I was chatting with Nicole, the shop owner, about what sign I wanted.  After deciding on the one pictured above, I mentioned that my 2nd option would have been something with my favorite mantra – Go Big or Go Home.  She surprised me by creating a mini-sign (measures 6″ x 3.5″):

And it is in now sitting in the kitchen over the sink (where I spend a lot of time).  I LOVE seeing those words throughout the day – just the motivation I need – especially at 430am in the morning before I head to the pool =)

If you have your own mantra or saying you like to say to yourself, you can have it made into one of these signs – keep it by your alarm clock, treadmill, front door…wherever you feel would be most motivational for you to get out the door and get your workout in!

And one of the best things about these adorable signs is the price – the mini-sign is only $12 (plus S&H) and the chalkboard is $32 (plus S&H).

    2. My big goal race is a trail half that I am doing this summer. Last year I got dehydrated & had to walk the last portion and it took forever. This year I want to play it smart, and run as much as possible and have fun!

    3. These are AWESOME! I would love one especially since I have been struggling with motivation to run lately. I want to break 2 hours in my half in May (yes, I am a slow runner!) but have been sidelined with sicknesses, wisdom teeth removal, and now it’s so hard to get running again!

    7. I’ve got the Snake River sprint tri March 29 & 30 (swim Friday bike/run Saturday). My goals are a PR for the swim (sub 15 min) and a mile pace PR for the run (sub 11:30).

    8. I am running my first half-marathon on March 16th! After that my goal is do look into Crossfit.

    9. I am totally visual as well! My next big race is the La Jolla Half the end of April, but I have a couple of smaller half’s before then. La Jolla will be a hilly one, so my only goal is not to cramp up or do any damage to my hip.

      My big goal is to hit a sub2 half by the end of this year. I think taking fifteen minutes off my time by November is doable, right? {cue the mental freak out}

    10. Very cute! I have a little note pad in my cubicle at work with mantras. The small one would be so much better haha!
      Next goal race is to hit a big PR for my 10k and then half marathon in April – and of course MCM in October! AND then by December hit a 1:49 half! (is there enough space on the chalk part for all that??!)
